What is ERASMUS+ ?

Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport for 2014-2020, funded by the European Commission.

Erasmus+ aims to modernise and improve higher education across Europe and the rest of the world.

It gives students and staff opportunities to develop their skills and boost their employment prospects.

Opportunities for students to learn abroad, include:
– Studies
– Traineeships 

Opportunities for staff to undertake professional development activities, include:
– Teaching
– Training 

The Erasmus+ programme is open to the following types of countries:
– Programme Countries (countries that can fully take part in all the Actions of the Erasmus+ Programme)
– Partner Countries (countries that can take part in certain Actions of the Programme, subject to specific criteria or conditions.
