Dear Erasmus+ Incoming students, Welcome!

Erasmus + incoming students can find here important information regarding their mobility at our university. In order to take a mobility in the Erasmus+ programme at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași, there has to be an Erasmus + inter-institutional agreement with the partner university assigned to the relevant field of study.

Students from Erasmus+ partner universities may spend 1 or 2 semesters at  our university within the Erasmus+ programme mobility. Student mobility can be in any subject area/academic discipline. Students may carry out one  of the activities described below:

  • a study period for a semester or for the all academic year
  • a traineeship (work placement)  in our university. The traineeships should be an integrated part of the student’s study programme

The student must be nominated for an Erasmus+ mobility at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași by the partner university.

After you have been nominated by your home university, you will receive an email with information on the registration procedure.

Upload required documents

  1. a scanned copy of  your passport or national identity card
  2. a scanned copy of your transcript of records with previous years of study
  3. a document/ certificate attesting your level in English –B1 level, being the minimum required
  4. the Learning Agreement : you must complete this document at your home University with your teachers / tutors, with course units from the current semester.

The Learning Agreement contains your planned course units in our institution. For the courses available during the academic year at our university level, please use the link(s) of the chosen faculty/faculties of TUIASI for your mobility, or (with course-guides, short form, for all TUIASI study programmes), or the link where you can find information about our university English-taught study programmes:

As an Erasmus incoming student, you can be accommodated in our university Campus Tudor Vladimirescu, in the hall of residence T8.
Campus facilities: a residence hall for international students with twin rooms; in room free internet access; the international residence hall equipped with study rooms, laundry room and a common kitchen on each floor; on-campus indoor and outdoor sports facilities; on-campus university canteen; on-campus Student Medical Centre for medical care, prescriptions, first aid; on-campus orthodox church; parking facilities; on-campus bank, nonstop snacks shops, small restaurants etc.
